Before people start going off about how the Ice Challenge isnt doing anything for ALS, do yourself a favor and look up how much money gets raised during the majority of cancer research walks, and how much of it actually goes to cancer research. My point being - many things benefit from things like cancer and debilitating diseases like ALS because people are convinced that it helps the struggle for furthering medical research, when in actuality all it does is raise awareness. Which isnt necessarily always a bad thing.
