Before the referendum, sides (one side more than the other one) were accused of being nationalists in the worst meaning of that word. Today, we have found out that a Dutch company is going to run trains in Scotland. What I hear around is why the contract did not go to a Scottish company. Either I am missing something or, to me, this sounds like a real nationalism in its bad meaning: Scottish company at any cost even though what their proposal was is worse than what Scotland is going to get. Question: should it have been a Scottish company, whatever their bid offered?
