Before you go for war be convinced on whose side you are because even if God has said THE BATTLE IS HIS, it so remains his and its him to determine who to fight and not to. There was a time the Israelites took the Ark to the battle front and the same God turned against them. Sometimes you think he is on your side but he is not. In this regard your defination about who is your enemy should be correct because if you mistake the one who is not your enemy, when the battle is fought God will be on his side and not your side. When he was nearing Jericho, Joshua met the captain from heaven, the Lord himself and even when Joshua asked him whose side he was going to fight for..Joshua 5:13. The Lord never gave him an answer, yet Joshua might have been expectant of the new alliance of victory. Dear people, it was untill the Lord commanded Joshua to TAKE OFF HIS SHOES, for the ground he stood was a holy ground. This only means that Gods side is the side of HOLINESS. Before you involve him, check where thou standest.
