Befriend a Child are currently under-going an internal re-structure – we are a rapidly growing, award winning Voluntary Sector organisation with a number of exciting new roles within both the Volunteer Support and Fundraising Departments. Our existing team is dedicated, enthusiastic and fun and we are looking to add like- minded individuals to take the organisation forward to the next level. We are looking to recruit in the following areas: • Befriender Support Workers – to recruit, train and support our dedicated band of volunteers • Projects Manager – to oversee the running of all our special projects including group sessions, Grandparents as Parents and Kids Are Go • Trust & Donor F/R – to research and submit funding applications, and to recruit and support a growing number of regular donors • Marketing and Communications Fundraiser – to design and implement organisational branding and materials; IT resolution and assist in fundraising duties including community and corporate networking In addition, we are delighted to announce that our first Charity Shop premises will be opening very soon and we require a Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure the smooth running and daily operation of the premises. • Shop Manager – to recruit and support shop volunteers; identify avenues for stock replenishment; and ensure profitable operation of shop on a daily basis • Assistant Shop Manager – to support Shop Manager in all aspects of their role, acting as Manager in their absence Anyone interested in any of the positions above should contact Chief Executive Karen Farquhar in the first instance for an initial chat, either on the office telephone number 01224 210060 or by emailing [email protected].
