Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you Luke 10:19 Reflecting on this scripture I begin to think about how these two creatures attack when in defense or aggressive mode. The snake slither around and suddenly strike its victim unaware leaving deadly venom that slowly brings about death that it may consume the target. But the scorpion attack is more calculated. When looking at a scorpion design you can see how he formulate his attack. First embrace then stab with his tail injecting the victim with a venom that will paralyze them. Beware of snakes and scorpions. Let the eyes of your discernment be sharpen because the enemy will try sudden attacks or even worse hidden attack after embracing you. God have given you power over them all that you may stand firm and put them under foot. EVEN AS PAUL SAID NONE OF THESE THINGS MOVE ME.... We stand firm in the mist of adversity as good ministers of Christ knowing that we do not fight with the enemy we tread on him as we overcome by what he has supplied for our victory. May the Grace of our Lord be with you all AMEN
