Being SLOW TO ANGER. This what God has been described throughout the Old Testament of the Holy Bible, but seldom, if no longer said in the New Testament. Curiously, The O.T. was the time when He showed His harsh and stern side, when the Law was the order of the times. Came the N.T. when Mercy and faith is the theme, it shifted to patience, kindness, and humility, and goodness, or LOVE( 1 Cor, 13:). And now, as though back with a vengeance, we are actually experiencing His harshness, with a series of wars and natural calamities, as well as personal and domestic violence: massacres, murder within the household, even of children. And there is a sharp return of gender outbreaks, love of pleasures, and complacency, reminiscent of Noahs and Sodom and Gommorah time, accompanied by Babel type of mass confusion of religion. These are strong indications or signs of a cycle end of the kind foretold by the Bible, called the End Times. Alas, many of us even professed Christians are yet to be aware and ready for this prospect. Well, it is not too late yet to reassess, and prepare for the eventuality.
