Being a child of divorce myself, this is pretty interesting. I can say firsthand that there were many times when I was put in the middle of arguments and times when I would have to defend the other parent when bad things were being said. While I know it can affect every child differently, life was better afterwards for me. And that is only because my parents, even though they didnt get along at all, knew that co-parenting was best for me. I was never kept away from one side of my family because the other parent didnt want me there. I was able to make my own decisions, all the while knowing I had 100% support from each parent. Anyways, divorce turned out to be a good thing in my case. I didnt have to deal with living in a house full of so much fighting anymore. Made life for me better in the long run. Done rambling now. :)
