Being a missionary has been my passion ever since I came to Thailand. Our task is not only to share Christ but to make disciples of Christ. To share Christ and teach those who have accepted Him to go and do likewise. I also feel that way about our particular means of outreach which is media. Since founding Freedom Films Productions in 1989, I have had the opportunity to share Christ through media but also to teach students how to go and do likewise. We can limit our impact by hourding our knowledge or we can increase it by sharing nations to go and do likewise. That is one of the reasons I have been so passionate about training people how to use media for Christian outreach and discipleship. Just the other day a video was sent to me by some of my past students who attended the Eurasia Media Distribution Consulation conference that was held here in Chiangmai. I was their lead trainer for beginning videography. I was thrilled to see these students using their new found skills to share the Bible. The video isnt perfect and I would love to teach them more, but they are using what they know to the glory of the Kingdom. It made me think that even the smallest contribution to the Kingdom of God never comes back void. It has been a great day.
