“Being a witness”….those three words can be very important in the everyday of our life. We can be a “witness” to a joyous event (wedding, graduation ceremony, etc.); we can be a “witness” as a solemn responsibility (court of law, with our signature on a legal document, etc.); we can be a “witness” to a historical event (the swearing in of a public official, honor given to a war hero, etc.). So many ramifications of the opportunity to be a “witness”. But probably NONE are as awesome or essential as being a “witness” for Christ! What could be better than to be a “witness” about the best Person and the most wonderful Good News that could be told / shared? Tomorrow at The Gathering Place at 10 AM Pastor Matt will be encouraging us all to seize this marvelous opportunity…the joy and benefit of being Christ’s witness is amazing. However, it is certainly more than saying words, or watching, it is DOING. A superb start in being His witness is gathering with a local assembly of believers and worshiping together.
