Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work - TopicsExpress

Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing. If this Thomas Edison quote spoke to the hearts of many church ministries, schools, and general relationships the world would be a much better place. Ive vome to the conlcusion that most people will use the success and failure of others to justify their personal comfort zones. Sad enough we measure whether something that we are a part of is successful or not by this as well. Teachers have great lesson plans and activities going on in class, are well like by colleagues and given high accolades yet students fail to meet the minimal requirements necessary to be succesful in life: WAS THE PURPOSE FULFILLED...NO! People get in relationships, feel good, look good, accomplish much but feel empty on the inside eventually because they arent working to their mutual destiny in God...WAS THE PURPOSE FULFILLED...NO! Churches full to capacity or not full at all yet people becoming more selfish and greedy and corrupt, not having integrity but bailing out to those who are the highest tithe payers and founded this church or this choir. For fear of losing members ministries sell out. So, people are emotionally driven...sometimes up and sometimes down, choir sounds good one week and horrible the next, preacher preaches good one week and acts as if he could care less the next. More importantly, no one gets saved, healed or delivered from strong hold, but they felt good...WAS THE PURPOSE FULFILLED ...NO. Ive personally grown tired of working for no reason and will not cosign with any one, any ministry, that concerns themselves with all of the things that really dont matter but at the end of the day are catching no fish. God says, ecept the Lord build a house they that build it labor in vain. It may look good now but if God isnt in it its ONLY a matter of time before it crumbles before your eyes.
