Being from the north, I could tell you that if a player from the Yankees was offered a better deal on a southern team and took it, his team and entire state would back him up on it. Yeah it would suck to have him go, but people would understand that hes making a decision that benefits himself greatly. Southerners, on the other hand, have shown the exact opposite for poor old McCann. It makes perfect sense that he is leaving to take a better deal, so maybe a Thanks for your service to my team and city is more fitting than Traitor. But what do i know, Im just a damn Yankee, keep on chasing him out with the torches and pitchforks Yall.
