Being healthy doesnt just mean being "in shape" and eating healthier. Being healthy has two main components: Health and Wellness. Health is a combination of physical, mental/emotional and social health. Wellness is what you do to actively take part in keeping healthy by doing things to promote physical, mental and your soical health. The 3 parts to health and wellness are physical (staying active and exercising most days of the week, eating a healthy, balanced diet rich in nutrients and getting adequate sleep), mental/emotional health (being able to express you feelings and needs, having an healthy outlet to reduce stress, or taking time to learn new things), and social health (being an honest, trustworthy friend, plaing importance in family and spending time with them or balancing social life with the other two aspects of health- physical and mental). Educate yourself and make small changes daily, and learn to live a more healthy life style!
