Being prematurity awareness day I wanted to share a few pics of our miracle boy Dane. Born at 25weeks 5 days weighing 1 lb 4oz...our little pound of butter:) We were in the NICU for almost 10 months, told numerous times we should consider pulling the plug, he is just too sick and will probably not survive through this anyway or well if he does survive, he will probably never sit or walk or see or even know what is going on around him, you should consider what you want for his quality of life THAT was the last time a Dr. Ever said anything like that to us again....I think he got the hint and spread the word quickly to others to not even go there with us......NOW we have this brilliant, kind hearted, funny amazing boy who EVERYDAY excels in everything he does....An absolute true miracle!!!!! I only picked a few pics....although I have 3 albums of just Halifax haha. He loved holding mommys finger and a pic of Danes little foot at 1 day old and at 86 days old he was still tiny enough to fit in a Christmas stocking.
