Being sick and seeing all these event posts on fb, makes me realize I should start going to more of my friends shows. So heres what Im putting out to the universe, how about each of us goes to at least one of each others shows in the next two months. Yes, even shows were not playing. Pick a friend or multiple friends that also perform, and in exchange for going to one of their shows, have them come to yours. If we all actually come together on this, it could make a big difference in our creative communities. How about it? How are we going to expect others to come to our gigs and support us if we dont do the same? How do we expect people that arent performers to show up when even the other musicians or comics in the same circles dont even care enough to do so? We all post our events way in advance, yall can get the night off. First person thats a performer to be on board with this and comment, Ill be at your next gig even if I may be late and its after work
