Being that tomorrow is The United States Marine Corps birthday (for the record - they are turning 238 years old & still going strong... Just like John McCain) , and the day after (Monday) we celebrate Veterans Day - If you find yourself with an opportunity to show appreciation to a Veteran - please do it... Regardless of if they are active or non active , no matter if they serve in Marines/Army/Navy/Air Force/National Gaurd/CG/etc , regardless of what war they served in be it Afghanistan/Iraq-Enduring Freedom/War On Terror in general/Iraqi-DS/Vietnam/Korea/WWS I & II/ etc etc etc.... If you find yourself with the opportunity - do something nice 4 a vet & show your gratitude for their sacrifice & service. Buy them a coffee @ Starbucks , pay for their familys meal at restaurant, see them @ Wal-Mart: buy their groceries, mow their yard, hell, do whatever it is that God puts on your heart to do... If your broke / running low on cash? - simply just shake their hand , look them in they eye and tell them thank you It doesnt matter what your opinion is regarding the politics behind it all... Regardless on how you feel about US foreign policy / involvement - know that they had no control over it.... Theyre just doing their job , serving our country , and looking out for you & me.... So go ahead & show some love to our brave veterans - because they deserve it & so much more
