Bell-Boeing Receives V-22 Aircraft Deal ift.tt/1myfYgO Bell-Boeing Receives V-22 Aircraft Deal by Naval Today via Naval Today >> The industry’s seaborne news provider Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Texas, is being awarded $14,6 million for cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order 0089 against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement in support of the V-22 aircraft for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy. This order provides for the research and of engineering and technical analysis of new capabilities of the V-22 aircraft. Work will be performed at Ridley Park, Pennsylvania (55 percent) and Fort Worth, Texas (45 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2019. Fiscal 2014 research, development, test and evaluation (Air Force) funds in the amount of $2,084,000 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This delivery order combines purchases for the U.S. Air Force ($8,785,159; 60 percent) and the U.S. Navy ($5,856,772; 40 percent).
