Bentley update. Up at 4 am to the blockade in the rain this morning with 2000 people ... black, white and brindle ... old and young. The 200 police billetted in Lismore ($$$$) failed to show up ... no doubt daunted by such a show of people power. Were camped on friendly farmers land ... much mud, overflowing loos, hundreds of cars getting bogged in the mud, music, great food ... and despite the threat of Martial law and arrests etc. ... almost a festival atmosphere. Nothing compares to people together under threat from the outside. Get here soon if you can. The plan is if the police stop you driving to the site ... park safely and camp there with whoever turns up as well. The more fronts we have the more we divide the poice resources and create a media happening.
