Bernard Gepken talks about Two Souls: Here is one of my favorite songs from the new album. Written by Bert Bruines. Recorded on the third day and for me (because of the lyrics and atmosphere) it was a decisive moment in the process of making this album. We started that day around 9am, and since Anneke Van Giersbergen sings so well (even that early!), it did not take us long to nail this song. This version was recorded in one take with Anneke, Reinier Scheffer & me together on stage in Kampen. Later Jonas Pap added a beautiful cello part. Have a listen:
