Beside from Star Wars, my other fav subject is WW2...Partly because George Lucas seems to use quite a number of WW2 references...Just look at Vaders helmet and youll get what I mean....This is my 1:1 Scale WW2 German Stiel Hand Granate 24 model kit..Also known as a Potato Masher...maybe the Krauts used them to make Bagedil on the battlefield....haha...bought from a model shop at Sunshine Plaza..it can be disassembled to the various components like the detonator and charge...the kit came in plain grey..so painting is required..the handle already has wood grain texture..juz a matter of painting it brown and use black dry brush method to add the grain effect..For the charge, I used an empty Redoxon container and some foam to fill up, the weight at the end of the line is a calcium stone from my fish tank...hehe..the base customed from a wood base from Daiso..Im supposed to add warnings in German using stencil method on the charge head but have not yet done it...for historical subjects, looking at reference photos is key...
