There are so many different types of housing available for rabbits, but we all agree that a hutch alone is certainly not enough. Exercise is very important to all rabbits, you cant walk them like a dog so they have to be able to exercise freely. The easiest way of allowing this is by having as big an enclosure as possible. Hutches compared to sheds and indoor pens are actually difficult to work with for both rabbits and humans. They are difficult to clean out, are poorly ventilated and often hold odours. Large enclosures give you space to move as well as allow your rabbit to run around. PLUS you can make a shed or play house as pretty and exciting as you like. Might as well make it a feature in your garden!
