Beware Of Deception And Wolves Among You There are many among us that claim to be Christians and claim to be of the Lord God; yet, they live lives that are careless and reckless, showing no regard and honor to the Lord God. There are those that will know the word of God and quote scripture; but, they don’t apply the word to their lives and don’t take heed to His word. They will use and twist scripture to justify their actions. Beware of those among you that appear to be spiritual; yet, they are far from the truth. They will lie, deceive, manipulate, and try to control you in every way. The bible says that the enemy comes in appearing as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). They are tools and ponds of the enemy to deceive you and lie to you and trip you into a trap. Beware of them and refrain from any contact or communication with such people (1 Corinthians 5:1-5). The bible says that we are to hold one another accountable and those that choose to live in rebellion and defilement, they are to be handed over to be dealt with. Yes, forgive them and pray for them; but, we are not to associate or be connected with such people. We are called to be separate and holy; come out from among them, says the Lord God Almighty (2 Corinthians 6:16-18). We must keep our guards up and use discernment; we must protect our ministry, our families, our church families and, we must watch out for one another. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” Do not be wise in your own understanding, for it will fail you every time; depart from evil (Proverbs 3:7). There are many that will come saying, “Lord, Lord….” and they will be sent away because the Lord never knew them (Matthew 7:21). They are liars and belong to their father of lies; John 8:44 says, “You are of [your] father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own [resources], for he is a liar and the father of it.” They will profess to believe in the Lord God; but, the bible says, good even the devil and his demons believe and shake before Him. We need to be truly aware of them and keep our distance from them! The bible says give no place to the enemy (Ephesians 4:27). My brothers and sisters, we need to armor up and be dressed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11). We must always be dressed and ready for battle; we don’t know when the enemy will strike or what he will use to strike at us. You don’t know who he will use to try and trap you and deceive you; beware and watchful, always pray (Luke 21:36). Heed to red flags when God shows them to you and the warnings; don’t second guess what the Spirit of the Lord shows you or puts within your spirit. Those warning are to keep you away from oncoming danger and to prepare you for battle! When you see and know their fruits and you see that there is deception and lies, get away from them immediately and begin praying; allow the Holy Spirit to use you to warn others and expose the lies and deceptions of the enemy. Be the beacon of light that shines and pierces the darkness; do not trust them nor allow them to come near you in any way, that is using discernment and wisdom. The Lord did not allow everyone to come close to Him; He kept few close to Him and remained about His Father’s business. Allow the Holy Spirit to show you the fruits of those among you and trust the Lord to lead you in what to do; don’t get tripped up or devoured by them!
