Beware viewer for I am going to paint you a story. It may horrify, astound, bewilder, or amaze, entertain, or just plain bore you. There once was a man named “Though” who thought he was a thought, or at least that’s what he thought. He sat and thought his thought of thoughts and began to think of other thoughts until he could not think anymore thoughts. When his mind became so crowded with thoughts of thoughts he thought: “How can I share this joyous thought, and remove it from the clutter of my mind?” and “What was a thought, anyways?” He tried to think of ways to capture this thought but found that he could not. Every time he clutched for where the thought that his thought resided his hands only came up empty, until one day he found his own hair and the pain that came with it. Thought thought that this was his thought, but then he thought: “Could thought be so simple?” and “If he was a thought, then who was his thinker and where was he now?” He then realized that he was much larger than his thought, and he began to think of ways to make his thoughts grow. So he planted this thought among the rocks as he had often seen farmers do with their crops, but grow it did not. In his frustration, snatch it up did he, and went and cast it into the sea. He felt he could not win, so he sat down at the water’s edge and began to think again, until he began to miss his thought and search for where it had dropped and found bubbles rising to meet him. For a moment he thought and scratched his head and quickly reached to save the thought that he thought he had bred, but find it he could not so sadly he swam back to dock. With his head hung lower than ever, he saw something in the water this time that he had never. As he stared down at the sea, he discovered it was staring back at he, but when he went to touch the figure all became unclear. He then saw, with a grin and a sneer, that if he looked past himself he could see what was really there: an idea. In the beginning, in the pursuit of happiness and fish, a thought was made just at the top-backside of black pearl of the eye. The eyes are windows to the soul. Can you see the fish? Don’t fall into the pond. I once was blind but now I see, for the big bang gave light to me.
