Beyond Controversy & Condemnation... For God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. - Rom 11.29 Through faith in Christ Jesus, we received abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness; and we reign in life through Him (Romans 5:17). • God gifts abounded to us in Jesus Christ that where sin abounded, grace abounded much more (Romans 5:20). > Except the sin against the Holy Spirit, which is publicly rejecting Jesus Christ of Nazareth as the Saviour and Lord of your life, no sin is greater than grace of God; • Even in judgment, His mercy triumphs over judgment for those in Christ Jesus (James 2:13); Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. (I John 4:17 NKJV) > You can even rightly accuse us of sinning, yet the truth is this; There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1-2 NKJV) • We dont glory in sinning but we confess our sins to God, for He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (I John 1:9 NKJV) > Every sin has its consequences but we have an Advocate with God; My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. (I John 2:1-2 NKJV) • Why is Gods gifts and call to us is irrevocable, beyond controversy and condemnation? > The preacher said, I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him. (Ecclesiastes 3:14 NKJV) > And Paul said, But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)...For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them...having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man...Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new...Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (Eph 2:4-5, 8-10, 15. 2Cor 5:17,20-21 NKJV) • Our gifts and calling doesnt depend on us, but on God the Giver; Even the money driven prophet testified to this truth about Gods people under the Old Testament saying, “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it. “He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, Nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The LORD his God is with him, And the shout of a King is among them. God brings them out of Egypt; He has strength like a wild ox. “For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob And of Israel, ‘Oh, what God has done!’ (Numbers 23:19-23 NKJV) > Men sees our faults and weaknesses but God sees His new covenant with us in Christ Jesus; and Jesus says, this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Matthew 26:28 NKJV) > And the heavens agreed with this truth; And they sang a new song, saying: “You[Jesus] are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain [on the cross of Calvary], And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” (Revelation 5:9-10 NKJV) • We are already made Gods workmanship in Christ Jesus. The world cannot understand the new life we have in Christ Jesus; The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8 NKJV) > They cannot dispute our gifts and call of God or destroy us, because we are the Sheep of His pasture; Jesus says, I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly...My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. (John 10:9-10, 27-28 NKJV) • No force can reverse Gods gifts and call upon all those in Christ Jesus. The knowledge of this will help the church not become slave to men and their doctrines; You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. Brethren, let each one remain with God in that state in which he was called....There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. (I Corinthians 7:23-24; 12:4-11 NKJV) > Everyone in Christ is gifted and called into the work of ministry; For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. (Romans 12:3-8 NKJV) • Never you accept again that lies of only few are called into the so called five-fold, which made many slaves to the so called five-fold ministers; because everyone in Christ is called into the five-fold; But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift...And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, (Ephesians 4:7, 11-14 NKJV) > If youve been saved by grace through faith then you are gifted and called into the five-fold ministry but its your faith that determines how available you are to the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit through you. Five-fold ministry is not an office nor title but a duty for everyone in Christ Jesus (Read Acts 2:1-4,16-18. 2Cor 5:17-21. Matt 28:19-20. Mk 16:15-18. 1Pet 2:9-10). • If you have been saved by grace through faith and filled with the Holy Spirit, theres gift of God in you; as Paul charged Timothy, Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind...But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. (II Timothy 1:6-7; 4:5 NKJV) > You have a ministry to fulfill in the land of the living; And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. (Romans 8:28-30 NKJV) + God has called you, and no force can separate you from His love in Jesus Name! Amen! (Rom 8:31-39) Beyond controversy & condemnation, youve gifts and call of God!
