Beyond Earthly Vision NEVER let anything of this life destroy - TopicsExpress

Beyond Earthly Vision NEVER let anything of this life destroy your root in God. Be aware that the power of sin is capable of ruining your spiritual root, so stay alert in order to not fall into sin despite the fact living a godly life is a constant and difficult fight. And remember that although one has to suffer (suffering in terms of sacrificing your sinful nature, desires, and needs) to live by Gods principles and thus keep a standard of righteousness in his/her life, God the Father highly respects that and takes notes of ones victory over sin. No matter how high the flesh has taken you, no matter how much pleasure you feel youre missing and giving up on, hold on firmly and NEVER LET GO. Your root in God is all that REALLY matters. King David knew that his root in the Lord was the most important thing when he said, One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life... (Psalm 27: 4). Above all things, his main desire was to preserve his root in God, not just for one day or a few years but for all the days of [his] life. Davids highest passion was not tied to the things of this world. But his spiritual eyes were open enough-praise God!-to see beyond the physical and material things. He treasured his relationship with the Lord more than anything else, for he knew that everything on earth is fugitive. Yes, nothing in this life is here forever. One day all will pass away, including the sweet pleasures, the wealth, the intelligence, the professions/careers, the beautiful houses, the loved ones in your life today, and even YOU. However, your ROOT in God and His righteousness in your life is what will last eternally even when physical death destroys this body of yours. You see, as long as youre victorious over sin through the power of the Holy Spirit, not even death can destroy your root in God. Because you have a STRONG foundation through Him, you are like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. (Psalm 1:3) or it does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. (Jeremiah 17:8). Obviously, your root in God means everything that is great because God is the source of greatness and awesomeness. Today, I want you to know that, regardless of our mistakes, the pressure of sin, and the storms in our lives, we must always try our best to remain rooted in God. Lets keep our roots strong in Him through prayer, His Word, and the Holy Spirit! Losing our roots in Him is losing everything. Likewise, being rooted in God is having everything. My prayer is for the Lord to bless each of us with solid roots to remain in Him for all eternity. Blessings on your day!
