*Biblical response to occult items and symbolism* As followers of Christ we should not blindly accept what culture tells us is normal or harmless if anything if its coming from the world that should make us question it all the more. The problem with objects and symbols is they cannot be redeemed. Therefore the origin and intent of the creation is what determines its function, regardless if it is used as such or not. No where in scripture do we see God telling His people to take something pagan, created for/with evil intent, and pray over it,redeem,anoint it etc. No, Hes very clear we should eliminate it all together. There are also plenty of former witches and satanists that will tell you 1)theyre not harmless 2)demonic beacons 3)they give legal right and access 4)cursed from day one 5)serve as a sign and talisman 6)doesnt matter if you dont use or believe in it 7)a believer should remove/destroy anything related to it.
