Big Boy LOVES LOVES LOVES to play with the toy Da Bird. It seems one of my favorite go to toys has done it again and brought out a little bit of kitten into this adorable boy. He and I actually played a good bit tonight. He was running back and forth chasing it around in the rec room. He seems to be feeling good enough to do this, which makes me VERY happy. Still steady as we go but I do feel like he is in a better place physically and mentally than he was two weeks ago. He is also continuing to eat well. I did speak to the vet about EPO and they thought that since his is regenerative the best option would be to stick to the current med plan which is the clindamyacin and prednislone. I was happy that I managed to get some liquid clindamyacin and mixed it well enough in his food he didnt notice and scarfed it down. ONE less pill to try to get down him which I think we are both happy about. Now I went ahead and agreed about it as the EPO is more focused on a different cause of the anemia and I do know the tests indicated that it wasnt in the bone marrow. This has been quiet the learning curve for me. I do feel though much more optimistic about him. All I can really go by is what I see and lately I see that his sparkle is coming back into his eyes. That light of his seems to be burning a little brighter. So many snuggles and purrs is left to give. Keeping my paws crossed that this continues :)
