Big News Folks!: A bit long-winded so bear with me. Okay, many of you may know about Star Wars Celebration shows but Ill explain them anyway. They are huge events that have been happening all over the U.S. every 2 or 3 years since 99. Ive been to 3 now. They attract 10s of thousands of people. Fans from all over the world travel to these shows to see celebrities, creative minds behind all the Star Wars media, and to preview all the cool things star wars collectible companies will be producing over the next few years. At these events they have an art show. Certain artists get selected to have tables to sell exclusive prints theyve designed just for the show. I have a chance to be one of them! The main criteria is youve had to have previously produced art for a Lucasfilm licensee. In my case thats Topps trading cards. On April 21st I can submit my portfolio of work to be reviewed and hopefully be chosen as one of the select few. If I am selected, in August theyll inform me and then ask for a few designs for a print . If they like what I come up with and select me, Im going to Anaheim California in April 2015 to sell exclusive art to Star Wars fans from all over the world! If Im not selected, Im going anyway to party with my friends. I am an uber Star Wars fan after all. Ill keep everyone updated!
