Big medicine, coupled with big pharma, which in turn dictate what is taught in the nations medical schools, have put up a wall against alternative therapies and medical journals wont publish studies done on the therapies that prove they are effective. But that wall is beginning to crack as more and more people turn to alternative therapies when allopathic medicine fails to heal them. Kudos to the NYTimes for publishing these letters to the editor as well as the original article that sparked the dialogue. I like the letter, from the woman in Berkley, California.
