Big pokemon announcements from nintendo today: 1. For the first time the professor wont give you the starting pokemon. Instead a friend will. However the professor gives you a KANTO starter instead! 2. Mega-venusaur, Mega-Charizard, Mega-Blastoise announced. 3. You will need 3 items to mega evolve. You will need a mega ring and key ring from the trainer as well as the mega stone for the pokemon. 4. Pokemon Bank announced. A yearly service that allows you to store up to 3000 pokemon in the cloud and is the only way to transfwr pokemon from previous gens to X and Y 5. Also announced were 2 special edition 3ds XL systems. The systems are either blue or red and feature the legendary pokemon of X and Y on the front.
