Big shout out to my disc golf family in Fort Walton Beach! They spent their entire Saturday entertaining their visiting PC club and did not fail to impress. We very much enjoyed hanging out with you guys and gals; and hope to do it again soon. Jacquelin N Rusty Robertson, what a bad way to start the day, Im sorry again that it happened. For those that werent there, Jacquelin went into the small creek to retrieve a disc, sank deep in the mud and a stick tried to make itself a home inside of her leg. She had to get 9.5 stitches at the ER and this all happened before 9:00 AM! During the first round of the day, one of the FWB crew left early due to signs of a heart attack! We were informed later that he was doing fine, but wow what a scare! So in total we played three doubles rounds and regardless of the score (because FWB spanked us) we still had a blast! Even Teresa Key made an appearance on the course! With discs! And she threw them!!! And the day wouldnt be complete without losing an awesome disc in a 10ft wide x 2ft deep creek (how does that happen?). Theres a blue Star Foxbat hanging out by the #6 baskets new location for anyone willing to go in that murky water (refer to Jaquelins incident above!). We ended up hanging out with John Capps and Josh Fickert at Casa de Capps basking in the awesomeness of the TWIN TOWER OF POWER (which is delicious by the way!) until Midnight, making it home in PC around 1:30 AM. Thanks again for offering a nights stay Capps, but our doggies were glad to go pee when we got here! Hope you find your shades brother! It really is great to have such great friends to hang out with. Everyone we bumped into was friendly and welcoming. You guys rock! I hope we are able to make it over again soon!
