Big thank you to all the ordeal candidates and the arrowmen who came to camp this weekend and worked, a lot of projects were done. Staining of the renovated rifle latrine, and finish staining the archery building. Chippewa latrine was stained, the old shingles on both Kickapoo and Iroquois were removed and new ones put on. The gas barrel and the diesel tank were refreshed with new paint, and the flammable cabinet was reprinted. The council ring has new landscaping, blocks were fished out of the lake and rearranged. The walkin cooler and the freezer exterior walls were painted white to brighten them up since the paint was peeling off. The entrance sign for the camp and the council ring and waterfront signs were all painted to match the rest of the signage in camp. Railing on the back porch of the trading post, the railing at the fishing cabin, the trim and railing at the health lodge and the trim on the archery building were all painted in chocolate brown. Bridge behind the dining hall was painted silver. Old railroad ties were removed on the path behind the dining hall. The roofs were swept off of the staff cabins, trees trimmed in camp and fire wood split. What a day!!!
