Big thanks to the Henderson family who joined us on our rather wet and windy walk through Hope Valley this weekend. Brother and sister Jamie and Katherine were both affected by meningitis. Jamie says: My sister Katherine and I both had meningitis when we were small. We were both very very ill. I was on life support and only just survived - and it is only due to a research drug that my side effects have been so little. Katherine has had many operations and will have life long difficulties. We need to do all we can to increase research so that this really horrible disease can be fully understood and then hopefully eradicated. justgiving/teams/walk25
