Bill Finger. Ever heard of him? Neither had I. This is a lesson in fighting for credit due. Bill Finger is the uncredited co-creator of Batman and responsible for almost everything we love about the character. Bill Finger apparently designed Batmans suit, gave him the Dark Knight nickname, created Joker, Riddler, Catwoman, the Batcave, Gotham, Dick Grayson and Batmans origin story with the death of his parents, and much more. Bill wrote over 1,500 Batman stories starting with issue #1. Bill has passed with no Batman money and was given no funeral, no obit, and no grave stone. Its not like this is the first time a creative wasnt given credit where credit was due, but damn its heart breaking to hear.
