Bill Sage --------------------------- March 20 The other day, on my way to Lansing to testify at a House Ed Committee hearing, about Constitutional rule of law curriculum, I had a conversation with a constitutional sheriff and friend. He told me that he spoke at an event at Olivet College to a group of 300 future police officers. He was speaking about the Bill of Rights when one of the students asked him what the Bill of Rights is. When he realized that this student of the law, did not even know what the Bill of Rights are, he asked the 300 alumni in the room, how many of you know what the Bill of Rights are and to raise their hands. Only 3 out of 300 raised their hands! That my friends, is the condition of our understanding of constitutional rule of law amongst, not just our law enforcement, but our citizenry in general. THIS IS AN EXAMPLE AND THE RESULT OF THAT UGLY TRUTH... A SYMPTOM OF THE DISEASE! This exemplifies the importance of Constituting Michigan/America and what it is all about. These officers do not know what the Bill of Rights are; let alone the 1st Amendment! Constituting Michigan/America needs your support!
