Biman – Shadow FINANCE Minister The Opposition has appointed Professor Biman Prasad as its shadow Minister for Finance. Professor Prasad says it’s a position he’s well qualified for and one that he feels will be critical for the accountability and transparency in the use of public funds ‘’I’m happy that leader of the Opposition has appointed me as the shadow minister for Finance and Planning and statistics, I think it’s a very important portfolio and I look forward to providing a very good debate on the issues of public finances, issues of planning and statistics’’.
