Bio Ag soil expert Phyllis Tichinin is coordinating the NTS Sustainable Agriculture Course taught by Graeme Sait, November 4 – 7th, Kennedy Park Napier, on biological agriculture principles for creating soil humus and nutrient density while minimising synthetic chemical use. Phyllis says: "It is broken into four key sections of Mineral, Microbe, Plant and Pest Management. The full-on four days of information and is important and stimulating. Why a whole four days? Because soil ecosystems ARE complex and there are no simple, single silver bullets. To do a good job of growing humus and improving food nutrient density, you need to understand the basics and have the information to build on those principles. This course provides that, as well as a strong emphasis on how to turn around our human health as well as soil health. The two go hand in hand. And if you well and truly can’t make the whole full days, you can choose to come to fewer days but to earn the Certificate you do need to attend all four days and pass the fours multiple choice exams. This course will be an event that you will look back on as a turning point in your career and your life.
