Bismillahir rahmanir raheem. Allah humma salli ala sayyidina Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbi wassalaam. JUMMAH KAREEM MUBARAK! As the new moon of the blessed month of Rajab enters, I anticipate its arrival, somewhat waiting eagerly not knowing if I would ever reach it. Now, that Rajab has entered sitting each night when the world sleeps to reflect upon all the wrong actions each limb of this lowsy self has undergone. A long busy day teaching children to be good citizens as well as having good character, at times making them laugh and at times cry. The most important part learning from these innocent souls of my own short comings. Amazed at the words articulated, the eagerness to better themselves. End of the year smiling with joy when eyes gazes upon their achievements and mannerisms. Now time has come for one to sit and assess ones own shortcomings and setting goals to better the self, first with The Lord through forgiveness. All those years when distraction has taken one away from The Creator and His Beloved sallalahu alayhi wassalasm. Now one sits away from such and is just you and The Creator listening to the words being uttered. Remembering the day when everyone around me will leave this body in the grave to be questioned by The Creator, what will I say I never spend my days and nights remembering you oh My Lord. I made your creation full of sin my love and never took the time to engage with You. How glad the soul feels to be away from distraction. Having this time to just be with my Beloved, one who will treat you with care and never look down upon you. Oh My Lord, I am weak and sinful, please pardon my sins, big and small, intent and without, hidden and open. ALLAH HUMMA SALLI ALAY!
