Bit of gastro hit 2 of us in Rome but now all back on track. Unfortunately for Marianne she couldnt do Pompeii and Naples yesterday so has done it alone today while Gill and I did hop on hop off bus and Vatican. Yesterday up early and first stop Naples for a 1hr walk around city with guide. Unfortunately there is a lot of construction work happening in Naples which was a bit disappointing. Back on bus to Pompeii with lunch at the hotel and then off with guide for 2.5hr walk through ruins. Very very interesting but no shade and bloody hot. Finished tour off with a cold Pirone beer. Today has been extremely hot and humid but thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the bus and walking around The Vatican. On the move again tomorrow catching train to Venice.
