Black people who attended white colleges and talk down about the education that black people who attend HBCUs annoy me. As Malcolm X said the white mans ice is colder to most black people than the Black mans ice. That is because black American s in general have an inferiority complex. Nothing you do or anyone that looks like you is ever good enough in your mind. Instead you want what the other man has which makes you a selfish people. Black People who have not graduated from black colleges and thus have not used those degrees to advance in life but feel the need to talk down about blacks who attend HBCUs are an example of that inferiority complex. You feel the need to talk down on others so that you can feel better about the choices you have made, and that makes you weak. My West Indian, East Asian, White, Central Asian west and East African colleagues who come from all over the world to attend HBCUs like Texas Southern, PV, Southern and Grambling have told me they see no difference in the education they received from the other American universities they have attended. It is not that white people are superior or that any one race is superior to any other race it is that they have convinced you that yours is inferior and not good enough. If you looked at the facts you would see that HBCUs have graduated more black people than all the white universities combined so there are more of us. On top of that our networks are stronger because in general WE, HBCU grads no matter what school we attended stick together and hire our own, leaving you on the outs. Finally the most successful black professionals graduate who make the most money have graduated or attended HBCUs Thurgood Marshall, Willie Gary, Doug Williams, Jerry Rice, Eryka Badu, Sean P-Diddy Combs, Earl E-40 Stevens and the list goes on and on. This message is intended for those black people who have attended white colleges and talk down about HBCU education....oh yeah by the way we had a whole heck of a lot more fun than you did to. the white mans ice is not colder than the black mans ice its all the same
