Blantyre RGM 3 - 3 Gryffe Thistle (Blantyre RGM win 5-4 on penalties) Outstanding result today in the 4th round of the West of Scotland cup. Martin Kelly opened the scoring early on for us in what was a very right first 10 minutes. We started to get in behind the opposition and played some great football which led to us going 2-0 up courtesy of a Ryan Andrews header from a corner giving us a well deserved first half lead. The opposition came at us in the second half and scored 2 goals to make it 2-2. James Cassidy squeezed in a shot from just outside the box which gave us a 3-2 lead with not long to go. The opposition scored from a free kick in the 90th minute which took the game to extra time. We fell behind 4-3 in extra time and could have been out of it when they hit the post but with seconds left a great run and delivery from Craig Brown set it up nicely for Thomas Anderson to slot home and take the game to penalties. 5 amazing penalties from our boys and a save from Adam McKay in the last penalty sends the RGM into the last 32. Yassss
