Blazing Trails with Bilbray - #TeamBilbray We had another great week on the campaign trail kicked off on Monday with an amazing grassroots end of quarter phone bank at our headquarters. And what’s a grassroots phone bank without Erins supporters and volunteers who made calls with her into the evening. Did we mention we also cooked out? Yum! Wednesday morning #TeamBilbray attended Hispanics in Politics breakfast with special guest Senator Reid. He talked about how Congressman Heck is an obstacle on immigration reform and how the Congressman says one thing and does another on a number of important issues. Then on July 4th, #TeamBilbray was back to the event that officially kicked off Erins campaign trail one year ago – The Boulder City Damboree Parade. The Rotary Clubs annual pancake breakfast was just the way to kick off America’s Birthday! Erin had a blast serving food (and practicing working across the aisle) with Sen. Dean Heller and our next Lt. Gov. Lucy Flores. We joined the Boulder City Democrats in the parade with our amazing volunteers handing out candy, flags, and pinwheels to the crowd. Then those of us who stayed dry enjoyed watching the brave among #TeamBilbray going through the water play zone and getting soaked! What a great start to July!
