Blessing of Schoenstatt Shrine at Kuttur, Kerala, India: My dear Fathers and Brothers, Heartfelt greetings to you all from Sion Centre Kuttur. That was a great and unforgettable day in our history of Sion Community. A dream is fulfilled to build a shrine for our MTA in Kuttur. In the midst of heavy rain the shrine was blessed. We, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters from different religious orders, many diocesan priests and more than a thousand and five hundred people gave witness to the blessing of this shrine. Fr. Francis Bruegger, the delegate of the General Superior to India opened the shrine cutting the ribbon and proclaimed that the shrine is the abode of Blessed Mother of Schoenstatt. The shrine was decorated so nicely by the Schoenstatt sisters of Mary. Bishop Pauly Kannookadan mentioned in his sermon that Schoenstatt has a role to strengthen the church through renewal of family and youth and devotion to the Blessed Mother. After the blessing ceremony we renewed the covenant of love with the Blessed Mother. How wonderful it is to be in the house of Blessed Mother. All the people visited the shrine after the Mass and all enjoyed a delicious simple dinner. Deo Gratias! We proved that we love the Blessed Mother. May our dear Mother intercede for us abiding in this shrine. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your prayers and sacrifices to build this beautiful shrine for our MTA. Let the covenant culture grow deeply in this centenary celebrations and we shall love Blessed Mother through actions and be filled with fire of Mission entrusted to us by our Father and Founder.Thank you all once again for all your contributions and wishes. Let our world become Schoenstatt. united in the mission of building the shrine at Kuttur, Fr. Paul Panamkulam
