Hail Caledonia A CONUNDRUM FOR Mr.MURRAY Further tp my post of yesterday where the subject of my header appeared to consider himself as a “BRITISH” citizen(Subject).I have had many replies, most of them positive, an exception being a inference that I may be too “CONSUMED” in the subject matter. I have stated on “MANY” occasions that the English people through their education system are “BRAINWASHED “into believing themselves “ENGLISH” rather than “BRITISH”. In saying that it is no reflection on how I regard the good “ORDINARY English people. To confirm this I intend to repost my recent article “RACISM=RESPECT” which will help in clarifying my. I would like to quote the following example which in itself will perhaps identify for Mr.Murray a scenario, which in his travels he must have experienced…… When visiting a foreign country and dining out in a local restaurant, the waiter hearing the “BRITISH” accent will automatically infer that you are “ENGLISH”. The question for Mr.Murray is “How does he respond to this inference????? A;- Does he politely ignore it???? B;- Does he say to the waiter, I am “BRITISH” but come from “SCOTLAND???? C;- Does he say as a true “PATRIOT” I am sorry you have made a mistake, I am “SCOTTISH”???? When you look at the framing of my questions, I am sure most of you will agree with me on the emphasis I have revealed on the crazy mixed up system we are all embroiled in????? The sooner we can release ourselves from this chaotic position of clarifying our “SCOTTISH NATIONALITY”, we as Scots will be free from insulting behaviour from innocent people we meet on overseas trips. In a recent book I read on Scottish history there was a chapter on the “SCOTTISH ENLIGHTENMENT” It related the “UNFORTUNATE” story of how most of the Scots intellectuals embraced the new order of “UNIONISM” with England and adopted the term “NORTH BRITONS” with alacrity; while their neighbours in England refused to call themselves “SOUTH BRITONS”. Of course I could go on to quote many more irrefutable facts to prove my case, however I will close by asking the question……Mr.Murray why should you accept being referred to as “BRITISH” when your young lady is indoctrinated into thinking herself as “ENGLISH”??????? .
