We are looking for a Sales Associate to assist the BNEF sales and account management team in London. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, an intellectual interest in the energy sector, be well organized, proactive, flexible and able to deal with a wide range of responsibilities that include the following: - Assist the sales team in achieving their goals by originating new business opportunities and booking meetings with senior decision makers - Managing, renewing and up selling a book of clients - Act as initial point of contact on incoming leads for BNEF products - Manage efficient input of client and sales information into BNEF website and internal systems - Provide back-up support for sales activities and customer service activities - Coordinate client events by inviting clients/prospects and managing logistics - Respond to client requests ensuring quick turnaround - Assist in the preparation of major sales activities, such as content presentations to senior audiences - Preparation and mailing of pre-sales call materials to prospective clients Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required - 2 or more years experience working in an administrative or finance administration role - Must have knowledge of and/or interest in the energy sector - Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure - Experience working in a professional environment with conflicting demands and pressures - Strong quantitative skills - Good communication skills - an additional European language is preferred but not essential (helpful to have German/French/Italian/Scandinavian or Nordic languages) - Ability to manage several tasks at once - Adaptable and flexible approach About Bloomberg Bloomberg, the global business and financial information and news leader, gives influential decision makers a critical edge by connecting them to a dynamic network of information, people and ideas.
