Blues crushing 6-1 victory against Reading has been selected as the LG Performance of the Week by the League Managers Association. A panel comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry decided that Blues outstanding display against the Royals was the one most worthy of recognition throughout the football leagues. An engraved trophy, made by LMA Partners, Thomas Lyte of London, was delivered to Blues Wast Hills training ground earlier today, where it was presented to boss Gary Rowett by Sky Sports reporter Steve Lee. Rowett was interviewed about the Reading game, plus other Blues topics. The interview will appear on Soccer Saturday tomorrow afternoon.
