Blues harmonica player Little Sonny was born Aaron Willis on this day in 1932 in Greensboro, AL. Little Sonny was a Detroit area harp player who worked with John Lee Hooker, Eddie Burns, Eddie Kirkland, Baby Boy Warren and Washboard Willie. He had been tutored by Sonny Boy Williamson 2 and his style mirrored that of Sonny Boy`s, hence his nickname. Little Sonny. He recorded his first solo records in 1958. I Gotta Find My Baby was released by Duke and Love Shock was released by Excello. In the 60s. Little Sonny recorded himself on a 2 track machine and leased the recordings out to various labels.
