Boat 1 and 2 were alerted at 1745hrs to assist Washington Co. Company 24 (Elrama) and 14 (New Eagle) with a possible hazardous materials spill on the Monongahela River in the area of Mitchell Power Plant. Both boats were launched quickly and went enroute with 7 as well as 4 members on land to support operations. All units checked several miles of water for the suspected spill but did not find anything and cleared shortly after.
