My employees were informed today that I will be ending a 42-year career in Rochester with retirement on September 30, 2015. Having spent 41 years (26 in my current CEO position) working in the field of substance abuse prevention/treatment/recovery has been a highly rewarding and gratifying experience. There are many happy memories upon which I can reflect in the years to come. However, it is time to make way for the next generation and, at age 70, to “stop and smell the roses.” I want to thank family and friends on Facebook for the years of support you have provided and I know will continue to provide over the coming transitional months. Although it will be from the balcony in Panama, I will continue to remain in touch with the Facebook world after I join the ranks of the relaxed and the company of my husband later this year!
