Bob Leschart and I had a beautiful dinner with Joanie tonight. 300 people visiting with family living in Copper Ridge tonight. Parking flowed out onto the street and around the block. It was so moving to see so many family members there sharing special moments with their loved ones. Amazing event put on by the staff. We went to the foyer afterwards and sang carols with a choir that came to visit. Joanie talked our ears off and was so excited to see us. I am happy to see that she is indeed adjusting to her new home but her tears of joy every time we go to see her tells me how important we are to her. The best thing about Christmas to me will always be that it is the one time of year that people actually focus on doing things for others. It is a selfless time of year and we could really use more of this spirit all year round. Merry Christmas Joanie!
