Bomb explodes at Prithvirajs Moirang residence; worker hurt MU NEWS/IMPHAL, Aug 11 : One political worker of Parliamentary secretary for youth affairs and sports Mairembam Prithviraj was reportedly sustained injury on hi left leg when a chinese hand grenade was exploded by the suspected underground activists at the courtyard of Prithvirajs Moirang residence tonight. The bomb was reportedly exploded at around 7.35 pm tonight,reports reaching here said.The incident took place while the parliamentary secretary who is also the sitting MLA of Moirang assembly constituency in Manipurs Bishnupur district was attending congress legislature partys meeting in Imphal while MLAs younger brother was staying along with his family members at the house. The injured worker has been identified as one Laishangbam Nungshi (67) of Moirang Konjengam Leikai.Now he has been evacuated to Shija Hospital for further treatment after giving first aid at Moirang Hospital,sources added. At the same time no armed group has claimed responsibility for the incident till the report goes to the website.
